Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has created unique ideas and concepts and realized a variety of projects under its vision of being "the world's best planning company."

To continue to fulfill its founding spirit of being "a base that continues to provide new lifestyles," CCC will make the most of AI and aim to become a "world-changing group" that goes beyond conventional wisdom, enabling everyone to play an active role as a "communicator" or "creator."
CCC Group AI Ethics Policy
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as the "CCC Group") are a company that creates culture infrastructure. Under the mission of "Proposing new lifestyles" to people who have their own unique style, or "My Style," in line with the times and lifestyles that change like a hologram, we have created an environment that makes people and the world more fun and happy - a culture infrastructure. Artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as "AI") has evolved significantly in recent years and has the potential to bring even greater changes to our lifestyles, so we believe it is an important element in creating cultural infrastructure. However, the evolution of AI may far exceed our expectations, and if we proceed with the use of AI without establishing basic policies regarding its development, provision, and use (hereinafter collectively referred to as "use"), it may unintentionally have a negative impact on people. Therefore, the CCC Group has set forth the following policy regarding the use of AI, and aims to create a culture infrastructure that contributes to people and society while coexisting with AI.
1. Human-centered principle
The CCC Group does not conduct research and development into AI with the sole purpose of improving its accuracy, but rather uses it solely as a means to make people and society more enjoyable and happy. Furthermore, when using AI, we will always respect human dignity and diverse values.
2. Pursuit of fairness
The CCC Group will strive to ensure that the use of AI does not encourage unfair and harmful prejudice or discrimination against specific individuals or groups based on diverse backgrounds, such as race, nationality, gender, age, political beliefs, or religion. To achieve this, we aim to eliminate bias and prevent discrimination by not only relying on AI to make decisions alone, but also by having human judgment intervene at appropriate times.
3. Privacy Protection
Because customer information is essential for AI learning and accuracy improvement, the CCC Group will establish and continuously improve its customer information operation and management system in accordance with the personal information protection policies established by each CCC Group company to ensure the protection of customer privacy.
4. Ensuring safety
When using AI, the CCC Group will strive to eliminate or reduce risks, such as by training AI using appropriate data, to prevent harm to human life, body, property, etc. To ensure that laws, regulations, and this Policy are properly complied with when using AI, each CCC Group company will establish a safety management system tailored to the nature and extent of its AI use, and will revise it as necessary.
5. Strengthened security
The CCC Group will implement security measures appropriate to the use of AI and the information handled by AI, and will strive to continuously strengthen security in accordance with the security policies established by each CCC Group company in order to eliminate newly emerging external threats.
6. Ensuring transparency
The CCC Group aims to build an environment where AI-based decisions can be verified in order to ensure the appropriate and safe use of AI. Furthermore, when CCC Group companies use AI in their services or businesses, they will endeavor to provide appropriate information by providing clear and easy-to-understand explanations of the use of AI on their corporate and service websites.
7. Thorough training and education of human resources
The CCC Group will develop human resources involved in AI. In developing AI talent, we strive to ensure that students not only acquire knowledge and skills about AI, but also have the literacy and ethics to use it in a socially appropriate manner.
8. Review of this Policy and its Application to CCC Group Companies
This policy will be revised as necessary in response to changes in AI-related technology, changes in our lifestyles and society, and changes in the regulatory landscape for AI. Each CCC Group company will comply with this policy and will formulate its own AI ethics policy as necessary in accordance with the nature of its business and services.
