Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. In providing various lifestyle proposal services, the Company strives to appropriately use, provide, and manage all personal information (including usage history) while maintaining its accuracy and security, in light of the nature and scale of our business.The Company ensures that all officers and employees are fully aware of and comply with the following Privacy Policy, and will continuously review and improve our personal information management system in response to changes in societal needs related to personal information protection.

(1) Management of Personal Information
The Company establishes a system for the appropriate protection and management of personal information and formulates internal rules for its proper acquisition, use, and provision, which are strictly followed.

When acquiring personal information, the Company clearly specifies the purpose of use and obtains it appropriately.For details, please refer to the terms of use specified at the time of acquisition on each individual service or website. The Company may also properly obtain personal information from other businesses, which may be used as outlined in “(3) Use of Personal Information.”

The Company uses personal information within the scope of the purpose of use clearly specified in advance.
Personal information obtained appropriately from other businesses is used as follows:

- To analyze interests, preferences, lifestyle attributes, or orientations for the purpose of proposing lifestyle options (this includes providing information through various communication means and improving or enriching our or others' services and information, or offering new services).
- To analyze aggregated information by converting obtained data into statistical form.

Handling of Anonymized Information
We, Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “the Company”), comply with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (including its enforcement orders and regulations by the Personal Information Protection Commission, hereinafter referred to as the "APPI"), the "Guidelines on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (including all parts such as the General Rules), and other related laws and guidelines. In doing so, we continuously create and provide anonymized information to third parties by taking appropriate protective measures to prevent identification of specific individuals and restoration of personal information used for creation.
1.Items Used to Create Anonymized Information
- Customers’ personal attribute information (name, telephone number, email address, gender, date of birth, address, etc.)
- Service usage history (information obtained when using services such as the point program for V members, survey responses, and information provided by V members)
- IDs such as membership numbers
Only the minimum necessary items are included in anonymized information based on internal and external purposes.
2.Method of Creating Anonymized Information
In accordance with the processing standards stipulated in the APPI, we create anonymized information using the following processing methods or combinations thereof:
Main processing methods and examples:
- Deletion of items that can identify a specific individual (including combinations of information)
Deleting directly identifying items (e.g., name, telephone number)
- Pseudonymization of identifiers
Membership numbers and other IDs are converted into random strings or similar formats that cannot be re-identified.
- Generalization of data that could lead to re-identification:
Converting birthdates into age ranges or year/monthConverting addresses to prefectures and first 3 digits of the postal codeAggregating purchase history into trends over timeIf results of item aggregation display as a single entry, modifying them to avoid individual identification
3.Provision of Anonymized Information to Third Parties
When providing anonymized information to third parties, we ensure data security by encrypting files or using password protection, and deliver data via secure methods such as electronic transfer, physical media, or documents.
4.Security Control Measures for Anonymized Information
We establish internal rules to implement appropriate safety measures and provide education and supervision to employees handling anonymized information.

Handling of Location Information
Our company and its consolidated subsidiaries or equity-method affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as “we” or “our group”) may collect location information generated by your device (such as GPS data and Bluetooth information obtainable from the device) when you use our application services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”), including when you have enabled background location tracking. This location information is used within the scope of the purposes set forth in our Privacy Policy, Article 4, Paragraph 3 of the V-Member Terms of Use, and the Terms of Use for each respective application.
